This is the GL-AR750S-Ext, completely re-imagined for use on set. With integrated mounting points, you’ll no longer have AC’s asking why you’re using Velcro or a paddle to mount a plastic consumer-grade router on their #cleanbuildchallenge cameras; no more power cycling downtime after camera power swaps thanks to the internal battery; a wide voltage range input to be ready for even the most bizarre power options; and easy access to all the information you need, like which antenna does what, right on the body itself. The ROFLCOPTER—or Rehoused Onboard Fixed Link Control Operations Parametric Tiny Ear Receiver—integrates feedback from DIT’s in the field into a mountable package ready to hand off to your AC.

Product Info:

  • Full recharge time (0-100%) when powered on is about 90 minutes; when powered off, recharge time is about 45 minutes.

  • The battery is intended only for periodic power interruptions, like onboard battery swaps. The battery takes about two minutes to power on from a dead state, so it’s critical to manually turn the unit off when not in use (e.g. when you break for lunch) to avoid the initial battery recharge delay. (It’s analogous to powering up your smartphone after it completely dies.) You must also manually power cycle the unit after the internal battery drains completely.

  • A blue “charge status” light means the device is currently charging. A green “charge status” light means the device is full charged. The absence of a “charge status” light means there is no external power connected.

  • Unit dimensions are 4.13 in x 3.11 in x 1.18 in / 105 mm x 79 mm x 30 mm sans antennas.
